Project Management

It all starts with a consultation and familiarity visit to the site. Materials get reviewed and then course of action, time frame, and basic budget is discussed.

Each project is unique but no matter how large or small, the level of attention and detail does not change. From concept to completion the level of service is consistent.

Ongoing and constant communication with the client(s); selection of quality driven & reputable subtrades combined with; consistent site visits and valuations will ensure that the project goals are clear, concise, and constructed properly.

Site valuation is key, this where standards are set and met.

Resourceful Renovations’ standards are extremely high “good enough” is not acceptable.

Carpentry, skilled labour, and trade overlap

Carpenters are most often the “drivers” in any construction project. They are the main problem solving sources when it fore-seeing any upcoming challenges. With this on-site familiarity and experience working with other contactors our carpenters are skilled well beyond their craft.

Carpentry services include (but are not limited to):

Finishing carpentry (doors, trim work, baseboard, custom built-ins), framing projects (including stairs), minor concrete work, cabinetry install, solid surface flooring (wood, laminate, cork, vinyl plank), decks, fences.

Skilled labour and subtrade overlap services:

Central vac tie-in, minor ducting & venting modifications, paint & drywall touch ups, site cleaning are just a few examples.

Design and consultation

Does the thought of hiring a designer scare you? Not all projects require the added expense of hiring a formal designer or architect. We have seen a lot of different homes and home layouts over the years and while we may not have formal design education…we certainly have an eye for detail and spatial usage. Turning your dreams into reality takes more than words. Our years of experience can help navigate through the limitations of your project “Believe us when we say, all projects have limitations!”

In numerous cases we can provide basic drawings for permits.

With the exception of conceptual drawings and permit drawings, design consultation is included gratus as part of our services.
